Using interactive methods to assure each participant walks away with new insights into and respect for marine life, ethicist and naturalist Chris Moreno has traveled the world to experience the content of his talks first hand. Chris has gathered insights from his adventures both above and below sea level in Canada, the United States, Tahiti, Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, South Africa and countless other destinations, including extensive travel along the Inside Passage while working as a guest naturalist on board Norwegian Cruise Lines. Back on land as a naturalist and facilities manager for the Vancouver Aquarium, he developed public presentations on Killer Whales, dolphins, local bird, fish and mammal species and was involved in assisting the Aquarium in selecting a company to support ethical whale watching and improve local understanding of acceptable boating behaviour when observing whales and dolphins in the wild. Chris brings enthusiasm, honesty and humor to his talks and strives to inspire new levels of understanding of the world around us. |
